Football fans from Croatia traveled to Slovakia to watch and cheer their football team when they got beat up by the police without any reason at all. The fans did not start the incident first, and sources say that police used rubber bullets while they randomly shot into the crowd of fans. They were also beaten with sticks while being tied on the ground with no chances to move.
Many of the fans that got arrested were kept and tied up for hours in the backyard of a police station with no medical assistance and without water, even though there were hot summer temperatures outside. Unfortunately a lot of injuries and broken arms happened during the incident. The fans have now sued the state police and country Slovakia.
