Man Arrested After Barking At Police Dog!?

At an investigation in a pub after a car crash in Mason in Ohio a 25-year-old man named Ryan James Stephens barked at a police dog that stood at the crime scene.

The dog barked back, and Stephens barked some more for fun. The police officer that was closest arrested the man for what he claimed was animal abuse, but the man didn’t plead guilty because his attorney said that barking at police dog is free speech. He didn’t bug the dog, he just communicated, because it’s still language, whether we understand it or not.

Besides, barking at a dog is absolutely no animal abuse. Another important thing was the distance; Stephen stood 30 feet away when barking at the dog, he didn’t hiss him from close-up which may have contributed to further aggression.

Stephen had something to say as defense: “The dog started it.”

Hmmm. Not animal abuse, but definitely interfering with a law enforcement dog ON DUTY. The guy doing the barking at the dog is definitely an idiot! If I was the dog’s partner, I would have turned him loose to grab the guy’s throat and squeeze his vocal cords, to shorten his antics. That would be the last time he barked at an on duty dog.

Rnm is a Nazi. What do you want, a police state? Aren’t we allowed any freedom? The police have to serve us, not us them. My dad was a NYC cop for 30 years so I’m not anti-police. But lately the police have been getting too feisty and taking our liberties away.

You truly are a pathetic soul. Do you get really angry when someone pokes fun at you? Because someone who does would say the things you’ve just said.

I bet you had you released that dog, it would have gone over to the guy for attention because that’s how dogs are. Then you would probably arrest the guy for showing the dog some love. Of course if you did that, you’d get sued and fired in a heart beat and made to look like the total idiot you are on national TV.

Will someone get you a police badge real quick so you can fuck it up and get thrown in jail? I’d love to see a broken cop rotting in jail with a prison population that wants him dead.

These attitudes by you and the police bretheren you support MUST come to an end.

There’s a change comming, are you on the right side?

Translation: I am a psychopath who fantasises about having people’s throats ripped out.

Translation: I am either far too young or naive to know or understand the necessity for the need for some people to have their throats rippd out.

Police and security jobs have always attracted bullies. In times past, the agencies involved, from sheriffs’ offices to the FBI, have had systems for screening out the bullies and dealing with the ones who slipped past the screening. It seems, from recent reports, that those screening processes are overdue for maintenance.

The police are stupid for doing this but the person who barked at the dog is stupid as well!!! both are to blame here !!!!

  6. Law says:

There is no damaged party for barking at a dog (police or not). K9 rights do not supersede the Constitution. Equality under the Law is paramount (Maxim of Law), One man can not judge another unless the one party agrees to be judged.

That officer would have been respected, maybe even appreciated, if he walked over to the barking man and asked him not to bark at the dog, please and thank you.

Unfortunately most officers are indoctrinated to follow what is said, not written, because the guy who hands him his check said so. All they are doing is turning the city against them.

MANNY: Welcome to the Nazi Party Bob!!! This is the kind of thinking that led the basically good German people to ignore the realities of that staunch segment of the German populace.. “Well dey was arrested by Nazis, so dey musta dun sumpin, wrong…duh…”

The following is CIVILIZED, BOB!!! It was a DOG, BOB!!!
The man just BARKED, BOB!!! Read down (if you can).

LAW says: That officer would have been respected, maybe even appreciated, if he walked over to the barking man and asked him not to bark at the dog, please and thank you.

The is local, state, federal, and international law. The police dog is an actual police department property. Any harm, can result an arrest with or without notice. Some states it is a felony.
